With the pandemic and quarantine earlier this year I started using the SWEAT app for my workouts. I've used this app before, many times, but this was the longest period I've used it consecutively. The app first came out back in 2015 and boy has it improved in the last few years! It's available on both desktop and mobile apps. The desktop app is still a bit glitchy, but the mobile app on iphone has been pretty good.
The SWEAT app is the most robust fitness app I've tried. There are 5 different trainers, each with a different style of workout program that you can follow from the comfort of your home. My main issue with the app was that all the programs required a lot of equipment, however, they recently resolved this by adding a no equipment workout program.
The five trainers are Kayla Itsines, Kelsey Wells, Chontel Duncan, Stephanie Sanzo and Sjana Elise. Kayla created the SWEAT app with her partner Toby Pierce. She rose to fame through her BBG (Bikini Body Guide) workout PDF that is likely still circulating around the internet! She's been a trainer for a while and has a beauty baby daughter Arna and lives in Australia. Each trainer has a completely different workout program, which allows for a lot of variety and would appease any type of workout preference.
Kayla Itsines - BBG
HITT style workouts.
Kelsey Wells - PWR
Similar to BBG but with weights.
Chontel Duncan - FIERCE
Very high intensity workouts,
Stephanie Sanzo - Build and Lift
Sjana Elise - Body and Mind
Yoga and meditation style workouts.
This app is great for home workouts and even gym workouts if you have access to a wide variety of equipment!
